Your Privacy Rights

SilPSI is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

SilPSI operates as a privacy-first service. For any data-related inquiries, you can contact us at hello@digitalpro.dev

2. What Data We Collect

SilPSI is designed with privacy by default. We DO NOT collect or store:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, address)
  • Calculation inputs (weight, tire specifications, bike type)
  • User behavior or browsing history
  • IP addresses or device identifiers
  • Cookies for tracking or advertising purposes

All tire pressure calculations are performed entirely in your browser. No data is transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Since we do not collect personal data, GDPR processing requirements do not apply to our core calculator service. Any minimal technical data (such as anonymous analytics) is processed based on legitimate interest to improve service performance.

4. Your GDPR Rights

Under GDPR, EU residents have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request information about what personal data we hold
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to Restriction: Request limitation of data processing
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to Object: Object to certain types of data processing
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time

Since SilPSI does not collect personal data, most of these rights are not applicable. However, we respect your privacy rights and are happy to address any concerns.

5. Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data or calculation history. All data entered into the calculator is processed locally in your browser and is not stored anywhere.

6. International Data Transfers

Since we do not collect or transfer personal data, international data transfer regulations do not apply to SilPSI.

7. Analytics and Cookies

We may use privacy-friendly analytics tools to understand basic usage patterns (such as page views and general geographic regions). These tools:

  • Do not identify individual users
  • Do not track personal behavior
  • Do not use invasive tracking cookies
  • Comply with GDPR requirements

Essential cookies may be used only for basic website functionality, such as remembering your unit preferences (PSI/BAR or lbs/kg).

8. Third-Party Services

Our website may link to external resources (such as SILCA guides or cycling documentation). These third-party websites have their own privacy policies and data practices, which we do not control. Please review their policies before providing any personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

SilPSI does not knowingly collect data from children under 16 years of age. Our service is designed for general cycling audiences and does not target children.

10. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected users and relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours as required by GDPR.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this GDPR compliance statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
